Explanation:
In plants and animals the cellular respiration is performed in the mitochondria in similar, but physical processes in both the cases differ. The glycolysis, Kreb cycle and electron transport system is the normal process in all the livings.
But in the case animals the physical exchange of gases are performed through special mechanisms. In human beings, breathing helps in the physical exchange of carbon dioxide and oxygen.
In plants, the physical exchange of carbondioxide and oxygen differ compared to animals. The respiratory gases are exchange through the stomatal transpiration, leticells etc.
