1*mL=1*cm^3. And thus 10*cm^3=10*mL.

Explanation:

Now 1*mL = 1xx10^-3L

But 1*cm^-3 = 1*(10^-2m)^3, because "centi"=10^-2

Thus 1*cm^-3 = 1*(10^-2m)^3 = 10^-6*m^3.

But 1*m^3 = 10^3L, and thus 10^-6*m^3 = 10^-6xx10^3L = 10^-3L = 1*mL as required.
