Simle. You substitute xx for x+2x+2:

f(x+2)=2(x+2)+1f(x+2)=2(x+2)+1
f(x+2)=2x+4+1f(x+2)=2x+4+1
f(x+2)=2x+5f(x+2)=2x+5

You do the same as you'd do if it was asking the value for your function when xx equals some number. For example, what's f(3)f(3) in this case?

f(3)=2(3)+1=7f(3)=2(3)+1=7

And f(0)?

f(0)=2(0)+1=1f(0)=2(0)+1=1
