If you can make educational materials, why not selling them at http://tinyurl.com/njblh6o ? You can make money.

Not everything should be for sale all the time.
Explanation:
Now, I am not arguing against teachers promoting and selling their materials and all that, I have absolutely no problem with that, especially since we have underpaid, overworked, and underappreciated teachers in every country.
That's a systemic problem that we can't seem to be able to address in our societies. The funny (or sad, if you think about it) part about all this is that everybody recognizes the significant importance education has, yet despite all this teachers and education as a whole will often get the short end of the stick. In a lot of countries, at least.
So anyway, my point is that educational materials, and education in general, should be free for all without exception. It will take a looot of work to get to that point, but we'll get there eventually. Idealistic.
One way to get the ball rolling is to offer free educational content, at least every once in a while, like so many people are doing on various websites, including Socratic. Realistic.
To answer your question, a lot of people are selling educational material, and that's great. But it would also be great to give some up for free, like we're all doing here.
Not everything should be for sale all the time - especially not education.
