First, use the Pythagorean Theorem, then use equation $d = v t$ $d=vt$

Object A has moved $c = \sqrt{6^{2} + 7^{2}}$ $c=sqrt(6^2+7^2$ =9.22m

Object B has moved $c = \sqrt{{(- 1)}^{2} + 3^{2}}$ $c=sqrt((-1)^2+3^2$ =3.16m

The velocity of Object A is then $\frac{9.22 m}{4 s} = 2.31 \frac{m}{s}$ ${9.22m}/{4s}=2.31m/s$

The velocity of Object B is then $\frac{3.16 m}{4 s} = .79 \frac{m}{s}$ ${3.16m}/{4s}=.79m/s$
