(0,5) represents the coordinate of the point (x,y)

If x=0 then a projected vertical line passes through the point x=0. In this case it is the y-axis.

If y=5 then a projected horizontal line passes through y=5

Where the two lines cross is the plotted point.

For this instance it is actually on the y-axis.
