The heat is doubled :

when the resistance is halved.

-Both the length and the radius are halved

Rl2,r2=ρl2π(r2)2=ρ(l2(1πr24))=2ρ(lπr2)=2R

-Both the length and the radius are doubled

2l and 2r

R2l,2r=ρ(2lπ(2r)2)=ρ(2l(14πr2))=12ρ(lπr2)=R2=R1

When the length is doubled

When the radius is doubled
