We know that the space around an object where the gravitational force vecF_gFg exerted by it can be experienced by any other object is known as the gravitational field of the object.
The strength per units mass of this gravitational field is called gravitational intensity vecE_gEg. Both are related as

vecE_g=vecF_g/mEg=Fgm

Comparing with vecf=mvecaf=ma, units of vecE_gEg are of those of accelration.

(Using equation for Universal Law of Gravitation we see that

vecE_g=GM/R^2=gEg=GMR2=g
where gg is acceleration due to gravity.)

SI units of acceleration are ms^-2ms2
CGS units of acceleration are cms^-2cms2
Ratio of SI units to CGS units =(ms^-2)/(cms^-2)=10^2=ms2cms2=102
