If $x$ $x$ and $y$ $y$ vary inversely, then

$x \cdot y = c$ $x*y = c$ for some constant $c$ $c$

If $(x, y) = (1, 11)$ $(x,y)=(1,11)$ is a solution set for the desired inverse variation, then

$(1) \cdot (11) = c$ $(1)*(11) = c$

So the inverse variation is
$x y = 11$ $xy = 11$
or (in an alternate form)
$y = \frac{11}{x}$ $y = 11/x$
