As the distance of diffusion increases, there are more particles constantly colliding and thus diffusion decreases. Yet, the increase of temperature increases the kinetic energy of particles for diffusion; shouldn't this increase of kinetic energy cause more collisions between moving particles ? So, why does temperature increase the rate of diffusion.
