Length is 35 inches

Explanation:

Let the width be x inch.
so, length will be (x+15) inches.
The table is rectangular in shape. So, its area will be = (Length * width) sq. unit.
Hence as per question, (x+15)*x = 700
or, x^2+15x = 700
or, x^2+15x-700 = 0
or, x^2+(35-20)x-700 = 0
or, x^2+35x-20x-700 = 0
or, x(x+35)-20(x+35)=0
or, (x+35)(x-20) = 0
or, (x-20) = 0, (x+35)= 0
or, x = 20, x = -35
width cannot be negative. so, x!=-35
Hence x i.e. width = 20 inches and Length is (20+15) or 35 inches
