Let the shortest side be $x$ .

If the sides are consecutive odd integers, the other two sides will be $(x+2) and (x+4)$

The perimeter is the sum of the sides.

$x+x+2+x+4 = 51$

$3x +6 = 51$

$3x=51-6$

$3x=45$

$x=15$
