The vertex form of the equation of a parabola is #y=(x+5)^2+49#. What is the standard form of the equation?

I am afraid that both previous answers are wrong, at least partially. The answer is : #y=x^2 + 10x + 74#

So, to understand how to get to this solution, I strongly advise to read the answer wrote by "Anonymous". Just be careful for the last step : 49+25 = 74 and not 64.

Concerning the answer from "9divine9 I.", the first solution is right but I must say that I have no idea how he found the 3 others solutions... which are wrong !
As evidence, look at the following plots :

N.B : As you can see both are matching perfectly !
