Any soluble lead(II) salt.........

Explanation:

So solution A is the obvious choice.

And we could write the reaction as....................:

Pb(NO3)2(aq)+H2SO4(aq)PbSO4(s)+2HNO3(aq)

This is a very poor multiple choice question (most multiple choice questions are!), because I am willing to bet that sulfuric acid added to lead carbonate would decompose the carbonate, bring the salt briefly up into solution, and then the insoluble lead sulfate would precipitate:

PbCO3(s)+H2SO4(aq)PbSO4(s)+CO2(g)+H2O(l)

The oxide is possibly too insoluble. I might do this reaction tomorrow to see if I am right.
