Plants are in general Autotrophic in nature but there are certain plants which do depend on other organisms for their food.
Explanation:
They are called insectivorous plants. They generally live in the soils which are nitrogen deficient. In order to overcome nitrogen deficiency they depend on insects by trapping them and hence they are called insectivorous plants/ heterotrophic plants
