Weakness: Doesn't show causation
Strength: Primary recency effect
Explanation:
Weakness: It show us what happens in every memory store but never why it happens or how.
Strength: Murdock (1962). It is the best and most well known backup for the multi-store model of memory.
It basically show that you remember the things you see first (long term memory) and the things you see last (sensory/short term memory) and everything in the middle will be easier to forget.
