The Troposphere, Stratosphere, Mesosphere, Thermosphere, Exosphere, and the Ionosphere.

Explanation:

The Troposphere:

  • Lowest layer
  • Most clouds are found here

The Stratosphere:

  • VERY important

  • Also known as the ozone layer, which absorbs 95% of the harmful Ultraviolet radiation from the Sun. UV rays can gravely damage our cells.

The Mesosphere:

  • The very thin layer right above the stratosphere

The Thermosphere:

  • Keeps temperatures of up to thousands of degrees contained.

The Ionosphere:

  • Overlaps the other atmospheric layers

  • Air is ionized by the Sun's UV rays. The layers affect the transmission and reflection of radio waves.
