Vascular tissue is a complex conducting tissue found in plants and consist of xylem and phloem.
Explanation:
Vascular tissues in plants are a major , continuous and unified system in a plant, right from root to tip of the top most leaf. They transport water, minerals and nutrients internally.
Xylem is concerned with the transport of water and minerals absorbed by the roots from the soil. Xylem tissue is made up of a strong , fibrous tissue that adds to the support of the plant.
The phloem conducts processed foods ( mainly sugars ) from the leaves to the other parts of the plant.
Thus the vascular system in plants is a two way transporting system for the materials required for sustenance of the plant.
