The Lower Right quadrant of the abdominal cavity is the junction between the Ileum (small intestine) and the Caecum (large intestine).
At this junction we also find the Appendix.

The Lower Right quadrant of the abdominal cavity is the junction between the Ileum (small intestine) and the Caecum (large intestine).
At this junction we also find the Appendix.
The IIeum is the last 2/3rds of the small intestine. The Caecum is a collecting sac at the beginning of the large intestine at the beginning of the ascending colon.
The appendix which is a vestigial organ, which is believed to have acted as a second stomach at sometime in our evolutionary process.
