- Photorespiration is found in higher plants. In prsence of light and scaecity of carbondioxide, the green plants absorb oxygen and carbondioxide released.
- In this process, the enzyme Rubisco oxygenates to RuBP.
- It wastes some energy produced by photosynthesis.
