In aerobic respiration glucose is degraded in water and carbondioxide in presence of oxygen, and several ATP molecules are generated in the process.
Explanation:
6 carbon glucose molecule may also undergo fermentation without oxygen. Yield of ATP is very less in fermentation.
Glycolysis is a common process in both aerobic and anaerobic respiration.
