Wood is a renewable resource if managed and harvested correctly. Other examples that can be renewable if managed appropriately include groundwater, crops, and animals consumed for food also. Examples of renewable energy sources include solar, wind, and hydropower.
Nonrenewable resources include coal, natural gas, and other resources that will eventually be replenished but over an extremely long period of time.
