The temperature at which the air reaches 100% relative humidity.
Explanation:
The amount of water vapor air can hold is dependent on the temperature of the air. The warmer the air the more water vapor it can hold. The amount of water vapor it is holding as a percentage of the maximum amount it can hold is known as relative humidity.
If we take an air mass we can measure what temperature that air mass would have to drop to in order for it to reach 100% relative humidity without adding any more water vapor.
The reason this is important is at 100 % relative humidity we have cloud and precipitation formation.
