When C-14 undergoes radioactive decay, atoms of N-14 are formed.
Explanation:
Carbon-14 undergoes the process of beta decay. The release of the beta minus particle (electron emission) causes one of the neutrons of the carbon atom to be converted into a proton.
This causes the atomic number (number of protons) to be changed from six to seven.
