Kepler space telescope is send to orbit around Sun to find extra solar planets.
Explanation:
Hubble space telescope orbits earth at about 600 kilometers above Earth's surface. It have a main mirror of 2.4 meters. It works in Visible light, infra red and UV wave lengths..It studies Planets, stars, Galaxies and universe.
Kepler space telescope looks for transit of planets. When a planet crosses infront of a star it gets dimmer by a small amount..By studying the period and reduction of light it detects EXo planets. It looks in a particular area of Cygnus, Lyra and Draco constellations for main sequence stars numbering about 145000 in number.
Its main mirror is 0.95 meters. It is orbiting sun in earth trailing orbit.
