What is the difference between the pluperfect and past perfect in English?
Is there a difference between saying "I have eaten" which is presumably English past perfect and "I had eaten" which is English pluperfect? I can't seem to figure it out in my head...

Explanation:
English pluperfect is now called past perfect, so they are the same...
Speaking of which you mentioning: "have eaten" as past perfect is not correct, as it is present perfect
