Explanation:

To find the gradient / slope of a line from two points, we need to find the difference in y and the difference in x. To do this, we take the first set of coordinates away from the first (think of it as your finishing point take away your starting point to find the difference).

"Difference in "x = 0 - 2 = -2
"Difference in " y = 0-5 = -5

Then to find the gradient we divide the difference in y by the difference in x.

(-5) / -2 = 2.5

So the gradient is 2.5.
