Explanation:

Adding #(-x+5)# on both sides, we get,
#7x-5-x+5>=x+1-x+5 rArr 6x>=6#

Next, we multiply on both side by #1/6#, noting that #1/6# being #+ve#, the multiplication will not affect the order of the inequality.

Hence, we have, #x>=1#, or, in the interval form, #x in [1,oo)#
