THJe BIg Bang the huge expansion which took place about 13.82 billions years ago.

But now it is found that the universe is accelerating and the reason is Dark energy. Only 4% matter in this universe is know form like atoms.. Other 23% is dark matter and 73% is dark energy..Astronomers believe that the Dark energy is responsible foir this acceleration.
