Adorno is the person who tested for an authoritarian personality on ex-Nazi soldiers and was able to provide the world with an explanation as to why the Germans went along with Hitler's regime even though they knew it was wrong.
A person with an authoritarian personality basically someone who obeys and looks up to those who are above them but look down on the people that they think are below them.
