Why do creationists think abiogenesis occurred by chance?

Because....
Explanation:
Creationists have a big problem with the unknown. First, they can`t accept science's current answer of "we don't know how abiogenesis happened". Second they confuse abiogenesis with evolution and bundle them together to say that it all either "just happened by chance" (that's what they think happened in evolution), or that we don't know ANYTHING because we can't answer how it all started. They hear the first part of the evolutionary process where random mutations do occur, and can't get past the word random, so they just say "oh, to you it just happened by chance".
