Let student tickets be $s$ and general admission be $g$

We sold 241 tickets so:

$s+g=241$

we got $1315 selling $s$ tickets for $4 and $g$ tickets for $7 so:

$4s+7g=1315$

Now we have two equations with two unknowns, we can solve using substitution:

$s+g=241$

$s=241-g$

Then put that value in the other equation:

$4s+7g=1315$

$4(241-g)+7g=1315$

$964-4g+7g=1315$

$3g=351$

$g=117$

So we sold 117 general admission, to solve for students use either of the original equations:

$s+g=241$

$s+(117)=241$

$s=241-117$

$s=124$
