One way you can do this with this function is to rewrirte

$- \frac{2}{x} \Rightarrow - 2 x^{- 1}$ $-2/x => -2x^-1$

and remove the power:

$- 2 x$ $-2x$

So the inverse is $f^{- 1} (x) = - 2 x$ $f^-1(x) = -2x$
