Let each of 12 resistors has got resistance R. The network of resistors connected in the circuit has been shown in the above figure.The equivalent network has also been shown here.

The equivalent resistance between A and C

R_(AC)=1/(1/R+1/R+1/R)=R/3

The equivalent resistance between C and D

R_(CD)=1/(1/R+1/R+1/R+1/R+1/R+1/R)=R/6

The equivalent resistance between D and B

R_(DB)=1/(1/R+1/R+1/R)=R/3

The equivalent resistance between A and B

R_(AB)=R_(AC)+R_(CD)+R_(DB)

=R/3+R/6+R/3=(5R)/6
