Let each of 12 resistors has got resistance `R`. The network of resistors connected in the circuit has been shown in the above figure.The equivalent network has also been shown here.

The equivalent resistance between A and C

`R_(AC)=1/(1/R+1/R+1/R)=R/3`

The equivalent resistance between C and D

`R_(CD)=1/(1/R+1/R+1/R+1/R+1/R+1/R)=R/6`

The equivalent resistance between D and B

`R_(DB)=1/(1/R+1/R+1/R)=R/3`

The equivalent resistance between A and B

`R_(AB)=R_(AC)+R_(CD)+R_(DB)`

`=R/3+R/6+R/3=(5R)/6`
