Solve the second equation for `y`:

`10x - 2y = 6`

`-color(red)(10x) + 10x - 2y = -color(red)(10x) + 6`

`0 - 2y = -10x + 6`

`-2y = -10x + 6`

`(-2y)/color(red)(-2) = (-10x + 6)/color(red)(-2)`

`(color(red)(cancel(color(black)(-2)))y)/cancel(color(red)(-2)) = (-10x)/color(red)(-2) + 6/color(red)(-2)`

`y = 5x - 3`

Because both these equations are in fact the same equation there are an infinite number of solutions for this system.
