Equation is already in y=mx+by=mx+b format. Just graph using the slope and y-intercept.

Explanation:

So the equation (y=9/4x-4y=94x4) is already in y=mx+by=mx+b format.
=> Where 9/494 is the slope, mm.
=> Where -44 is the y-intercept, bb.

All we have to do is graph it.

graph{9/4x-4 [-10, 10, -5, 5]}

I think what you have difficulty with, is the slope. You can use the "rise"/"run"riserun method to graph the slope.

Basically, all numerators are "rise"rise, and all denominators are "run"run. So in this case, starting at (0, -4)(0,4), move up 99 points, then right 44 points, giving us (4, 5)(4,5).

You also do the opposite: starting at (0, -4)(0,4), move down 99 points, then left 44 points, giving us (-4, -13)(4,13).

Connect them with a straight line and BAM!

Hope this helps :)
