Computing in the vertical direction

$u=1*sin(pi/4)ms^-1$

$y=0$

$a=-9.8ms^2$

We use the equation

$y=ut+1/2at^2$

$0=sin(pi/4)t+1/2*-9.8*t^2$

$t(sin(pi/4)-4.9t)=0$
