Both terms have 2x as a common factor. Lets see what this looks like:

=>2x(4x+b)

There are no more common factors. However, if you were pushed you could factor out the 4 but in doing so you would need to incorporate a correction in the form of 1/4. Let me show you what I mean:

=>2x xx4(x+b/4) However, I can not see any benefit in doing this!
