Area of triangle is 1212

Explanation:

Given three sides we can find the area o a triangle using Heron's formula, which states that if three sides of a triangle are aa, bb and cc, its area is given by

Delta=sqrt(s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)), where s=1/2(a+b+c)

As the sides of triangle are 5, 6 and 5

s=1/2(5+6+5)=1/22xx16=8

and area is given by

Delta=sqrt(8(8-5)(8-6)(8-5))

= sqrt(8xx3xx2xx3)

= sqrt(2xx2xx2xx2xx3xx3)

= 2xx2xx3

= 12
