How do you find the the length, width and height of rectangular prism if the volume is h^3+h^2-20h cubic meters?

1 Answer

If l=length , w=width, h=height of the prism the volume is

V=l*w*h

But we know that V=h^3+h^2-20h hence

l*w*h=h^3+h^2-20h

(l*w*h)/h=(h^3+h^2-20h)/h

l*w=h^2+h-20

l*w=(h+5)*(h-4)

From the last equation we find that l=(h+5) m and w=(h-4) m and h=h m
