$(x - 3) log 6 = log 52$ $(x-3)log6=log52$

$x - 3 = \frac{log 52}{log 6} = \frac{1.716}{0.7782} = 2.205$ $x-3=log52/log6=1.716/0.7782=2.205$

Hence $x = 5.205$ $x=5.205$
