Adding all the eqns., $2 (x + y + z + v + w) = 334 .$ $2(x+y+z+v+w)=334.$

$:. x+y+z+v+w=167......(star).$

In this, $x+y=53, and, z+v=90.$

Subst.ing $(star), 53+90+w=167 rArr w=24...(1).$

$"In "(star)" subst., "y+z=44, v+w=79," &, get, "x=44...(2).$

$w+v=79, &, w=24 rArr v=55...(3).$
