First of all slope of the line would be `(4+1)/(8-2)` = `5/6`.

To write the point-slope form, either of the two points can be used to write the equation. Using the point (2,-1), the required equation would be y+1= `5/6` (x-2). Using the other point (8,4) the equation would be y-4= `5/6` (x-8). Both the equations are essentially the same. Either of them is the correct solution.
