You may take the log_e or ln on both sides.

Explanation:

lne^3=ln20.08

Since any power may be placed before the log-function as a multiplication, we get:
3lne=ln20.08

And since lne=1:
3=ln20.08

Which checks out on my calculator (with a bit of rounding, actually e^3=20.0855... so 20.09 would have been a better number.
