y-intercept: (−43)

Explanation:

another way of saying this is that the x-intercept is the value of x when y=0
XXX3x+9×0=−12→3x=−12→x=−4

Similarly the y-intercept is the value of y when x=0
XXX3×0+9y=−12→9y=−12→y=−43
