Point-slope form is:

$y - y_{0} = m (x - x_{0})$ $y - y_0 = m(x - x_0)$

where $m$ $m$ is the slope and $(x_{0}, y_{0})$ $(x_0, y_0)$ is a point through which the point passes.

So in the example we're considering, we can write the equation as:

$y - 3 = 0 (x - (- 2))$ $y - 3 = 0(x - (-2))$
