Will it ever be possible to view unanswered questions for a certain topic?

So far it is possible to view unanswered questions for the whole of socratic, a mixture of subjects and one specific subject. However it is hard to find unanswered questions for a specific topic of a specific subject.

You are right, the filter that allows us to see unanswered questions does not work for the topic pages, it only works for the subject pages.

The team didn't use the filter on topic pages because the number of questions, both answered and unanswered, present on each topic page is significantly smaller than the number of questions, both answered and unanswered, present on each subject page.

So you can easily find unanswered questions in every topic page by simply scrolling through the topic page. Basically, the relatively small number of questions present on each topic page did not justify the addition of the filter.

On that note, there's always a chance that the team will revisit this in the future. However, even if the team does decide to add the filter to the topic pages, that will not happen anytime soon.

So to answer your question, maybe, but that's something that can only happen in the (distant) future.
