Given the matrices A=[(5,7),(-1,6), (3,-9)], B=[(8,3), (5,1), (4,4)], C=[(0,4),(-2,5), (7,-1)], D[(6,2), (9,0), (-3,0)], how do you find A+B?

A+B=[(13,10),(4,7),(7,-5)].

Explanation:

Since A and B both are 3xx2 matrices, A+B is defined and is

again a 3xx2 matrix, worked out as under by adding the

corresponding entries :-

A+B=[(5+8,7+3),(-1+5,6+1),(3+4,-9+4)]

A+B=[(13,10),(4,7),(7,-5)].
