The above answer is correct, but luckily for us, there's already another function for this: cosine!

The cosine function is just the sine function shifted over by $\frac{π}{2}$ $pi/2$ !

Sine function:
graph{sin(x) [-10, 10, -5, 5]}
Cosine function:
graph{cos(x) [-10, 10, -5, 5]}

If $y = sin (x + \frac{π}{2})$ $y = sin(x+pi/2)$ , then $y = cos (x)$ $y = cos(x)$

How do you graph y=sin(x+(π2))y=sin(x + (pi/2) )?
