$5 \sqrt{2} (cos (arctan (\frac{1}{7})) + i \cdot sin (arctan (\frac{1}{7})))$ $5sqrt(2)(cos(arctan(1/7))+i*sin(arctan(1/7)))$

From the diagram above:

$r = \sqrt{7^{2} + 1^{2}} = \sqrt{50} = 5 \sqrt{2}$ $r= sqrt(7^2+1^2) = sqrt(50) = 5sqrt(2)$

$θ = arctan (\frac{1}{7})$ $theta = arctan(1/7)$
